CURB Scape Inc. strives to provide you with the highest quality in curbing. Not all companies provide you the highest quality concrete and installation and below are some examples of poor installations of landscaping edging and curbing.
Metal Landscaping Edging:
The biggest negative of metal landscape edging is that it it
dangerous for dogs and children. Over time, it tends to become very
sharp from wear and tear as well as your lawnmower scraping the edges.
The owner of Curb Scape's pet dog, Zeus, cut his paws on some metal
edging and the vet bill was $572 dollars...the typical CurbScape job is
$600 dollars.
Metal landscape edging also is not an effective barrier as it
allows for grass to grow over it at will. Over time, the metal will
rust and rot and is simply a waste of time and money!
Other Curbing Companies:
Notice that not all landscape curbing companies operate with their customer's satisfaction in mind. Look at the uneven lines below. Can you believe those are supposed to be STRAIGHT LINES, instead they are low quality curbs that end up jagged and rough!
Flaking and Cracking Curb:
Other curbing companies use less Portland concrete and more sand in an attempt to "curb" costs and raise profits. They pass their bad workmanship onto their customers. Notice the flaky and cracking curb below.
